Thanksgiving and the Power of Community
Thanksgiving isn’t a quiet week for most people. It’s chaotic, loud, packed with schedules, family obligations, travel, and more plates spinning than usual. In the middle of all that noise, it becomes even clearer how much we depend on the people God has placed in our lives.
This year, as I look at what God is building through HolyFit Co., one truth rises above the busyness:
Community matters.
Deeply.
More than we often realize.
And I’m grateful for every person God is bringing into this movement.
Why Community Matters More Than Ever
We live in a culture that pushes isolation. Everyone is overwhelmed. Everyone is juggling responsibilities. Everyone is fighting quiet battles that rarely get talked about. Running can feel the same way—an individual grind where you push through miles alone, trying to stay disciplined and committed.
But God never designed us to walk or run alone.
Hebrews 10:24–25 reminds us:
“Let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works… encouraging one another…”
Encouragement is not optional.
Community is not optional.
Accountability is not optional.
They are pillars of endurance—spiritually and physically.
Why HolyFit Exists
HolyFit was never created as a business strategy or a way to sell apparel. It was built out of a real need: a place for Christian runners to support each other, grow in faith, and share the discipline of endurance.
We’re not a church.
We’re not replacing your church.
We’re not competing with your church.
But we are a community.
A gathering of believers who love Jesus, love the miles, and want to live out their faith boldly in the running world. A place where Scripture isn’t awkward, prayer isn’t strange, and talking about Jesus isn’t out of place.
That kind of fellowship is rare. And I’m grateful for it.
Gratitude for the People God Is Bringing Together
This Thanksgiving, I’m especially thankful for:
The runners who show up—not just for themselves, but for others
The messages, testimonies, and prayers shared inside our community
The support we’ve felt from day one, even before HolyFit had a name
The opportunity to encourage one another toward endurance
The reminder that faith grows stronger when shared
Every person who joins brings something unique.
Every story matters.
Every mile matters.
Every bit of encouragement matters.
And we’re just getting started.
A Thanksgiving Challenge
As you navigate this busy holiday week—whether you’re traveling, working, celebrating, or squeezing in your miles—take a moment to reflect on the people God has placed in your life. Who strengthens your faith? Who keeps you accountable? Who reminds you that you’re not running this race alone?
Reach out to them. Thank them. Encourage them.
Community is built one intentional moment at a time.
Closing Thought
This movement only exists because of the people God has brought into it. I’m thankful for you. I’m thankful for the miles ahead. And I’m thankful for the chance to build something rooted in Scripture, fueled by endurance, and grounded in Christ.
If this mission speaks to you, don’t keep it to yourself.
Invite others. Share the community. Encourage your friends, your running partners, and anyone who loves Jesus and loves the miles to join us. The strength of HolyFit grows every time someone new steps in.
Follow us. Share us. Bring people into HolyFit.
Let’s build a community that pushes each other toward endurance and toward Christ.
Happy Thanksgiving.
